weekend readings (only 3 pages)

for those who haven't read the book "a year in the merde".
here is a lovely piece you might want to read first (for a good laugh).
although, it makes me feel like packing up and taking off to live in france for the rest of my life...

everything could be arranged, though my french would have to improve so much to understand more (cos they just talk too fast for me...) and if i want to be understood at all.
but i guess body language should always work.
a very long way to go...
ka-ching ka-ching... more money goes to the alliance (though they are a non-profit organisation).
come to that, i have spotted where the goethe institut is by accident when i was at the crossing waiting for the green man (should totally run through the red light as a ped but it'll be very dangerous in wellington...regardless of my multi-million attemps to jaywalk...)
might as well start learning german for no obvious reasons...

i actually intended to double major in german (if i stayed in UoA). the decision to choose german over french was that i would never be able to pronounce french properly. but then... german was just equally bad.

XD miss L did a crash course in german before her business trip over there. i find german grammar far more complicated. although it'd be really nice if i could pick it up later on...:P
so u did japanese instead?
