hk also has this kind of shop, turning discarded banners into bags.

lately, i am very fascinated by the concept of "upcycling". reading such stuff and how the ideas work gives me more enjoyment than (window)-shopping brand new items in the streets.

yeah, giving a new life to abandoned stuff does make the world a better place. i believe in this too.

but shopping and window shopping is a different kind of experience, i guess?

window shopping enriches my ideas on DIY..(so a loop formed)
so it goes this way..
seeing beautiful clothes on display, which stand out becoz of a little lace, ruffles, or pearls beautifully arranged..
(waaahh..exclaiming.) holding the clothes up..i'il start scrutinising how these are done (and contemplate that i can do it cheaply, with some leftovers) : P

that's great! :D
adds much more life in a pret-a-porter too.
