1. totally did not know that we switched back to daylight saving again until 3 am this morning. thanks to my semi-amnesia & quasi-insomnia. the biggest thanks go to my ipod touch. now you're my 2nd best friend. my bestest friend is still, google.
2. i'm not alone, half of the morning geography class was empty. i'm not the only one who does not watch telly, does not listen to the radio and does not have any connection to the real world. and due to the legislation change, thanks to the govt, computers don't change daylight saving status automatically anymore. at least someone dares to not obey the authority!
3. in the half-empty class, our lecturer tried so hard to convince us that there's too much information out there, when you do searches online, you often feel overwhelmed. he then gave us an example by looking for a particular picture of agogo dancers in phuket on flickr. the results returned with tonnes of pictures, but none of them were relevant. most of them were just junk. he then, at this point, said again why doing online searches is overwhelming. a girl, interrupted loudly, "but that's how we were brought up", she paused, "i mean for
older people who are not used to seeing this, it is overwhelming, but not for us." when young people who really do not give a f**k are being blunt, they seem totally headless. and unfortunately, i was one. still am. might always be one. 死未
