Dear AO candidates,

first of all, congratulations on being selected to sit your test in 2 weeks.
though i know very little of how this system works, but you've come quite a long way, sitting at your desk getting ready for your test(s) now.
unlike most of us, we either did not apply due to various excuses or we did not get selected.
you're the future policy makers who will shape up our value/society in large couple of years down the track.
bear in mind that this is not just a job, not just any job.
it's so important that we'll have to rely on all of you to build a better life.
your decisions have a great impact on most of us.
do not let us down, as we have high hopes for you, not only do we fund your salaries through taxes, but we'd like to see how you help us to improve the organisation you're about to start working at as well.
i'm sure that you're learned, kind, bright etc, but be sure to visit the places that the centre of your life is not placed often.
see how other people live and listen to what they have to say.
sometimes what we average jo/josephines want is quite simple, we want our voice to be heard.
no immediate actions need to be taken, we just want some humble people to listen, and to communicate with us.
keep this in mind when you take on this glorious job.
really serve the people and never ever lose your true self.

break your leg,

josephine
