煮婦日記

到了法蘭西之後,被食材的多樣性淹沒。
奈何廚房既沒有微波爐亦無烤箱。
中飯常常是以三文治或者冷冰冰的沙律果腹,被同事嘲笑之餘不免也覺得自己可憐。

星期三休息,本打算出去走走曬曬太陽。
不想一覺起來,迎來一場大風大雨。

於是便把家中的儲備食物搬了出來。
整了一個不知所謂的泡飯。

食材如下:西蘭花一枚,白蘿蔔一條,風乾鮮火腿兩片,糙米若干。
加水,煮啊煮。
便成了一道人間美味。


其實我想說的只是:吃再簡單的東西,只要有火腿吊味,頓時鮮美滋味全部溢出。

i dread eating cold food in winter =_= guess it is the Chinese gene that kicks in.

i dread eating cold food in winter -> have you tried eating cornflakes with milk directly taken outta fridge on a cold winter morning? it's horrible. i started eating muesli for that reason.

winter morning---> no, too gweilo food! (plus, never believe it is healthy )

i would rather eat properly cooked oatmeal (the 粗粒 version), sweetened with cane sugar (which brings a special sweet smell) and with (lots of) egg! (yumm~)

here are my fave breakfast-
- home-cooked 皮蛋瘦肉粥類
- noodle, with gd ingredients of course
- congee, plus fave bread (as i grow older, i like the simplier version of breads. freshly baked 波蘿包、麥包、豬仔包 now appeal to me more.. back to basic?!

cooking breakfast requires so much effort. if i don't skip it, i have to eat something that's quick and easy.

hence, all the things you like are off my list. XDDD
