International Symposium - 'Eileen Chang: Romancing Two Cultures'
An international symposium organised by the Faculty of Arts at The University of Hong Kong under the China-West Studies Research Theme Initiative. In recent years, there has been growing public and scholarly interest in Eileen Chang. This interest has been given an international boost beyond Sinological circles with the spectacular success of Ang Lee's 'Lust, Caution'. Eileen Chang studied as an undergraduate in the Arts Faculty at the University of Hong Kong, so she is very special to us. We intend to bring together researchers who have been working on Eileen Chang to a two-day symposium to discuss Chang's work.

很慚愧，書千里迢迢買回來已經一個多月了，只看到第二頁，她在永安買了一個檯燈。
我有點不捨得看——看完了，就沒有了。
但怎麽都應該好過那些完全不知道張愛玲的人（相信我！真的有的！）一點點吧。
早知道他們有這樣一個研討會，反正又是復活節假期，我應該一早買定機票回去參加。
現在，算了。
