Yes, that's how some loser like yours truly imagine how the rich and famous live. Oh, s/he must be miserable when he gets home. Relationship is overrated. Oh well, I am just saying.
haha! what 樓上 said is poignant. I think ppl of this generation are apathetic/independent/self-centred in the sense that dating/marriage is no longer the must. It is a bit hard to evaluate the weighting of relationship. for some ppl, pursuit of own hobby/happiness prevails. Importance of relationship slips in only when one is at the weakest.
lcl: my point is not that s/he's miserable when s/he gets home. the point is really that, no matter how good everything looks on the facade, deep down, they really are weak and need to be loved even more. :P
g: you totally got my point! :) being a self-centred person, i think the top priority is to indulge myself in doing things that please me the most. i'd rather stay out of a rotten relationship if it kills me bits by bits everyday.
i just think it is difficult to find a fully compatible psn who can go along thru the entire life, one who u won't find bored. if life is 20% miserable/lonely and 80% peaceful/feeling ok, that's already quite good, and my fear perhaps comes more from repetition/not realising my potential/ageing/pimples & poor skin etc etc rather than singlehood. divorce is actually quite common, among 30+ educated, i now realised as i read the article by a former DJ.
i'd rather stay out of a rotten relationship if it kills me bits by bits everyday > agree. but when you're not in one you probably would still be yearning for one. and then the reality and the dream/imagination would just drift further and further apart.
g: i guess full compatibility does not exist in real life. plus you should not worry too much about getting pimples and poor skin, those things go away with a happy mood & a good night sleep. i rather enjoying being alone most of the time. though still would enjoy feeling loved. talking about the divorce rate, haha, well, like what my cousin once said, filing for a divorce could be better than staying single (i.t.o. what other people would say behind your back).
lu: you're absolutely right. the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. we just never treasure what we have.
g: really? how different? mine is like combination, uber dry some areas and uber oily around the T zone. it's rather hopeless cos i constantly forget to do masks and never sleep enough. T.T
^^. being alone doesn't mean you're not happy ma~ as long as you find something interesting to do when you're alone, then it's fine. =)
(so we are now a bit off-topic... ^^ ) my skin is bit coarse, and has some scars, reddish. rosacea, if u have heard this name. but it's OK. Not uncontrollably super terrible (at least for this year), except the pre-m period when patches (literally) erupt here and there. (anyone know how to cure them??)
jesus, i soooo envy those with good skin, which adds marks to one's appearance. having said that, i am actually not a appearance-conscious psn, if only, those red patches & coarseness can go away i am more than contented ^^
being alone doesn't mean you're not happy > agree. important thing is not too be affected by the smug couples floating around and fall into self-pity.
about eruptions before m, um... i guess it needs a long term treatment? it might go away with the propolis mask (or other soothing substance) but it'll be back the next time if the fundamental of the problem is not taken care of...
g: i can't think of a way to deal with these problems but to go and seek some professional help from a dermatologist. but if they are not too serious you should be fine. just remember to put sunblocks on every morning before you leave your house. :)
lu: you seem like a pro i.t.o. skincare bor! :D any other recommendations for ppl who have acne prone skin?

my skin is a bit different from u guys. no hope~
being alone is ok. I am already accustomed to it. i can't quite stand big fluctuation in emotion, even it is joy. ^^
