LOL. not at all. but it does sound really scary when they were only 18-y-o's. they behave as if they were like 100 years old. that breaks my heart.

i hope that you'll find your way in the stock mkt. or whatever that mkt might be! :)

sigh sigh sigh. u dunno know, these days i am thinking deeply how to "money finds money" in order to secure, say rental income/stable dividends, for my old days. Not young now and no one to 養 me. No pension now just seems-always-shrinking-doing no better-than-mine MPF. LOL

matureness/老積..is a curious thing. One may also view a very young girl in love of literature with deep thoughts as 老積...just that u're mature/more advanced in other aspectss...

yeah, rental income sounds good. does rental incomes get taxed?

you're not old and i'm sure you'll find someone that you love and spend the rest of your life with him.

i dunno how one should define matureness. i'm always avoiding things, i guess that means i'm not very mature? XD

yeah..of course taxed. Interestingly, after the financial tsunami, many ppl are back to the basic ie bricks. But the liquidity of flat is lower than stocks, and fear of 租霸 still loooms. ok, ok much money talk. But these days i am obsessed with property/stock forums/blogs. it is quite interesting because from their stories u can see economic cycles, philosophy, and the vicissitude of life.

:D

sounds like a plan then. are there courses to take to become a financial planner?

the word "finance" makes me sleepy already. :(

no particular plan. i don't eveny buy insurance haha. i just save save save and (occasionally) buy stocks.

yes. secretly there is a plan. i want to save up to an amount which allows me to spend 70% on a REIT that produces an annual dividend equivalent to my present annual income, and the rest for property investment/cash for emergency. but know it is a very long road ahead.

i don't have insurance either. i used to be forced to purchase my health insurance. somehow i just stopped after i graduated from uni. XD (ppl are less likely to die from pulling to many all nighters)

my dad once offered me a little money to play in the stock mkt. i kindly refused him. i was not born to be an investor. i'm so bad with money. :(

i dunno what the interest rates are like in hk. but the australian reserve bank has recently increased their interest rates. maybe you can speculate on australian dollars and used term deposits in AUDs? (could be a stupid idea, what do i know, i got a bear pass in finance paper)
