元宵節快樂

正月十五,應該要坐下來,搓湯糰。
用水磨糯米粉和豬油黑洋酥。
其實小的時候,我記得,年三十夜晚,吃完年夜飯就會圍坐在桌邊一起幫手搓湯糰。
與其說是「幫忙」,倒不如說是過過癮,因為添亂的成份過多。
而我搓的湯糰,一定是那個下了滾水立刻爆餡的……

寧波人吃黑洋酥湯糰。
上海人本地人則是吃鹹味的大肉湯糰。
因為怕和甜味的搞混,常常搓成圓形之後,再頂上搓出個尖的頭。
用後現代的比喻,就是要搓出個碧咸式髮型的樣子。

而通常這些肉圓子的體積也比寧波湯糰大。
一般去本地人家裡做客,端上來一碗湯圓,裡面只有3、4個,已經吃到我翻白眼了。
所以我小時候,很怕去本地人家裡拜年,因為還沒有機會吃別的東西已經飽死……

也有人家在下午燒桂花酒釀圓子的。
用的也是水磨糯米粉搓的小個的丸子,加酒糟,盛出來之後,加糖桂花。
我比較喜歡無餡的小丸子的口感和韌勁,因而可以吃很多。

當然了,一個人在外,沒有人照顧,也沒有親戚團聚的時候。
只要是吃任何圓子形狀的東西,都算是應節了。

My husband is 上海人. They would made those sweet and salty 湯糰and 酒釀圓子...

I like the 豬油 black sesame 湯糰 best... the 豬油 makes it smell so nice!!!!

I was told that 上海人 (male) is well trained :P ...

for the black sesame 湯糰... 豬油 has to be added. Otherwise it just has a very earthy, dirt-like texture...

most shanghaian females are well-trained too. of course, minus the stereotyped mistresses. @.@

You sure shanghainese women would be willing to be mistresses? I was told they have very strong personallity and are very good at managing their partners...

But I guess one has to live in shanghai long enough to pick up those good/bad qualities.

but it's just a stereotype.
again, there're of course, exceptions.
