my recent favourite is a 紅黑簿(if u know what type i refer..)wrapped by a 包裝紙 that is imprinted with buddhist/japanese-like pictures. it is so beautiful. i use it to jot down putonghua pin-yin of new words, in a (futile)attempt to brush up my very broke PTH...
g: i only got it becos this one is a 18-month diary. i got it in july. XD i really can't care less about those legendaries and about whoever used these notepads. these stuff are made in china nowadays but still cost a fortune.
those notebooks from the blog look really cool!
i often just use the back of receipts to jot down things. but then they tend to get thrown away by "accident" too often.
(secret of the day)I just discovered that a pole-dancing blogger that i accidentially clicked into from your place the other day is my 大學師妹 : O . I am stunned that someone from my subject could write such powerful and perceptive pieces. This also makes a big contrast how bland a life i hv led in the past 30 yrs. (deep reflection )

yes..that's the point...pretty plain design but costly.

:D but the other good thing is that it's not too heavy. we used to get those hardcover diaries from work. uber heavy. @.@
